Decatur County PRIDE Alliance was start in February of 2023 by 2 allies to meet the needs of the queer community in Decatur county Indiana. From the very small general population support grew quickly and by May the organization had grown immensely. The decision was made to become a non-profit, elections were held, Bylaws were passed and by July the group was officially the Decatur County PRIDE Alliance inc.
The official mission statement of Decatur County Pride Alliance is :
“Decatur County Pride Alliance Inc. is organized for the purpose of education and advocacy on behalf of LGBTQIA individuals in Decatur Couny, Indiana.”
We are committed to embracing this mission statement with utmost enthusiasm and dedication, ensuring its fulfillment in each and every endeavor we undertake.
